The Irish Association of South Asian Studies (IASAS) fosters and disseminates multidisciplinary scholarship on South Asia through annual conferences, events and the publication of the Critical South Asian Studies journal.
You are welcome to share your research interests with our members to explore the possibility of participating in discussions and other academic projects, such as special lectures, conference panels and co-authorship. CSAS is an open source, peer reviewed, online journal. The journal focuses on disseminating contemporary multidisciplinary research on South Asia; it is one of the few online open-source journals with a focus on South Asia.
CSAS encourages new scholarship and innovative media on the region and welcomes papers related to politics, society, gender, history, literary studies and popular culture on South Asia.
Papers (between 5000-7000 words) with an abstract not exceeding 300 words should be uploaded to the website.
All submissions must strictly adhere to the guidelines for submission and the journal style sheet.
