The Annual South Asia Conference is being held from 28-30 April 2021.
There are two keynote addresses, given by Dr. Meghna Guhathakurta (Executive Director of Research Initiatives, IID, Bangladesh) on “Norms, Dynamics, and Propensities for Sexual and Gender-based Violence in Humanitarian Crises: The Rohingyas and Host Population in Bangladesh” & Dr. Srila Roy (Associate Professor in Sociology at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa) on “Queer feminist politics in neoliberal India: moving forward, feeling backward”.
