Asma Yaqoob is a PhD candidate at the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University. She has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from University of Karachi (Pakistan); and a Master’s degree in Practising Sustainable Development from Royal Holloway University of London (UK).

Her research at DCU comprises of historical analysis of tradeoffs between political economy and ecology in Indus Basin to underscore current and future climate change adaptation policy failures in South Asia.

Her thesis at DCU is co-supervised by Dr. Danny Marks and Dr. Jivanta Schottli from the School of Law and Government.
